The annual Bali Arts Festival is a world-renowned event. The Asian global travel site Agoda.com is celebrating the festival this year with special deals on travel to Bali. The month-long festival known as Pesta Kesenian Bali, or PKB, has been held from June through July since 1979.

It is a showcase for the very best of Balinese arts and cultural traditions, and features a spectacular parade through Denpasar which is a highlight of the festival. Costumed performers and the music of gamelan orchestras take over the streets in a vivid display of Hindu-inspired Balinese tradition. The festival features many musical and dance performances throughout, as well as the famous Balinese shadow puppet theater, Legong dance theater and mask dance performances.
